The Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana is split into two shots that are Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana-I

Eligibility of Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana
1. Women under BPL stay in India.
2. The beneficiary must be a woman above 18 age.
Feature of the Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana
1. Provide financial support of Rs 1600 without charges to each household that comes under BPL.
2. Along with LPG collection the beneficiary gets the hotplate and refill free of cost.
3.No one in the beneficiary should own the LPG connection.
4. The income of a household should not be exceed decided by the state government and Union territories of India.
5. Beneficiary should not be a recipient of another similar scheme.
Challenges of Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana
1. Low consumption: It is found that low consumption of gas after refilling the first one.
2. Irregular System: Sometimes it is found that the duplication of the beneficiary.

1. In the first phase the Dalit and Trible population is connected with the scheme most of the poor women get the benefit of the scheme.
2. In the second stage more LPG centers are opened in the country.
